Sports Festival Held with Great Energy and Spirit

22 May 2026

Our school recently held its annual Sports Festival.

Although there were concerns about whether the event could go ahead due to rain that had fallen during the night, the dedicated efforts of the Student Council and Sports Festival Committee made it possible to begin the event just one hour later than originally scheduled.

At our school, the Sports Festival is planned and managed mainly by the students, led by the committee chairperson. This year marked the sixth year since the establishment of the junior high school, and it was the first Sports Festival in which all grades from both the junior and senior high schools took part together.

Students were divided into six teams: Kirin, Suzaku, Byakko, Genbu, Seiryu, and Kyubi no Kitsune. Through the event, a strong sense of unity was created across different grade levels, bringing great excitement to the day.

One of the highlights was the cheering performance competition, where each team expressed its passion through creative and powerful performances. Their originality and enthusiasm deeply moved the audience.

The final event of the program was the cavalry battle performed by the third-year senior high school students, titled “Let Your Fighting Spirit Burn! Now, to Battle!” As the oldest students in the school, they showed great pride, determination, and intensity in their spirited performance.

During the practice period, there were some unusually hot days for the season. Even so, the students worked together to create the best possible stage with their own hands. Their efforts truly reflected one of the values our school places great importance on: independence.

It was a memorable Sports Festival filled with teamwork, passion, and student leadership.
